A Double Shot in Rue Magazine!

The holidays came with a doubly pleasant surprise—not one, but three photos of Dunes and Duchess pieces in the super cool Rue magazine.

Now one feature we had a head’s up about because it was a project that our dear friend interior designer Rachel Reider had done. Rachel has done a number of residential projects that have appear in the pages of magazines, but this was an elegant inn in Maine that she had done called The Captain Fairfield.

When Rachel was working on the design for the inn she contacted us about designing a sconce based on our candelabras. Now you know why it’s called the Double Rachel Sconce! We were thrilled to flip through the pages of Rue to find a photo of the dining room that includes the sconces in white.

Then a funny thing happened. We got a cryptic email from Bob Novogratz of The Novogratz design firm and HGTV television show of the same name. He mentioned something about great coverage on the candelabras and sent me a link. At first I thought he had seen the Rue issue featuring the inn, but when I clicked on the link I saw that he and his gorgeous wife Cortney had used our two-arm candelabra in white for the photo shoot of their feature in the magazine and not only did you see it in one photo but in TWO!
